Experience in complex examinations in school-based dual vocational training
Abstract
Dual training has become a key issue of 3-year skilled labor and 5-year technician training. At the same time, the system has potential for errors, from both the employer and the governing institution. In this case, we focus the emphasis on the measurement and evaluation side of the professional preparation and the complex exam. The study presents the experiences of the Baranya County (Hungary) school-based complex exams, using the exam chairman's reports and professional interviews with company executives. The overall picture shows the work of the employer and the vocational training institutions, the quality of the vocational training work they carry out, and all the shortcomings in the measurement and evaluation system.
