About

Journal of Applied Technical and Educational Sciences - jATES (online ISSN 2560-5429) is an open access, peer reviewed, multidisciplinary scientific journal edited and managed by professors of different disciplines from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary, Eszterházy Károly University, Hungary, Subotica Tech, Serbia and University of Dunaújváros, Hungary. Prior to 2018, jATES was formerly known as "EDU Szakképzés,-és Környezetpedagógiai elektronikus szakfolyóirat" was started in 2010 by the Network of Young Scientists for Education under the leadership of István Lükő as founder and chairman of the Editorial Board. The Network of Young Scientists for Education has embraced young researchers, students of the universities and graduate schools, young educators and researchers through the opportunities of publicity. The journal still preserves its goal stated at the founding, but it is also opened to multidisciplinary research work. Accordingly, the name, the aims, and scope of the journal were replaced to create the reinvented Journal of Applied Technical and Educational Sciences. The journal accepts publications related to applied technical and educational sciences, including related areas as ICT or engineering fields. These topics include education-pedagogy, information and library science, public administration, sustainability and aspects of modern engineering technologies etc. Another important mission is to connect Hungarian-language academics/researchers in different countries and enable them to share their results. Based on this aspects of its mission, the journal is considered equally international as well as regional.
