The Efficiency Test of the Forest Pedagogy Project Among Students with Normal Pace of Development and with Mild Intellectual Disabilities
Abstract
In this research the authors examined the effectiveness of Forest-Pedagogy Project –as an applicable model. During the work the authors focused on the examination of pedagogical work and the changes in knowledge and attitudes of the 8-13 year old students’ (131 persons+ 16 learning disabilities students) who arrived at our 5 day long forest-school programme. During the examination we tried to make use of several methods in order to explore the results, the strengths and the weaknesses of the programme, its effects on children because this way one can get a real picture and realize the further development of the programmes. That is why in our research we used questionnaires, attitude analysis, conceptual analysis as well as analysis of children’s compositions. Exploration of effectiveness of the Forest-Pedagogy Project has been realized in a three step series of examinations.
